Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging

OUR DIVERSITY, INCLUSION & BELONGING MISSION.

Finding beauty in diversity is in our DNA because our differences are what make us beautiful. Our diversity, inclusivity, and self-expression fuel our innovation and growth. At Sally Beauty Holdings, we come together to create a culture for One & All.

CREATING A CULTURE THAT WELCOMES EVERYONE.

Living Our Values Top

where we are on the journey.

Education, awareness, and leadership commitment are key elements in our DIB journey. We are committed to building a truly diverse, inclusive company focused on listening to what our associates and customers need and want, and on equitable hiring, training, and development.

Today, over 50% of our associates in the U.S. and Canada are racially and ethnically diverse. The percentage of women in leadership roles at Sally Beauty Holdings increased significantly from 2020 to 2021—including a 28% increase at the Senior Vice President level. Just 2% of Fortune 1000 companies have women in both the CEO and CFO roles—and we’re one of them.

We recognize and appreciate the value our diversity brings to SBH and our communities. Our approach is simple: It’s about embracing all of our associates and building a culture where people can come as they are because everyone is welcome here. We’re doing what it takes to inspire a more colorful, confident, and welcoming world.
