We set out to create a company purpose and values that would guide us on our transformation journey, engage and
inspire our associates and customers, and signal the impact we intend to make in the world.
Our purpose is our North Star, our rallying cry, the reason we come to work every day. It’s why we exist as a company, and
what motivates us as a team.
Our purpose must be authentic and active. It’s not enough just to put it on our website or on our walls. Our purpose is
something we have to live every day as individuals, as a team, and as a company. It’s a filter for how we think about things,
prioritize work, make decisions, and take action.
To me, our purpose is about bringing out the best in ourselves, in each other, and in our customers. It’s about celebrating
our differences and bringing our authentic selves to work every day.
Along with creating our company purpose, we also revisited our values to make sure they not only reflect the culture of our
company, but define how we want our culture to evolve. Our values are how we live up to our purpose—and they guide every
interaction with each other and with our customers, every day.
As a global company with over 29,000 associates representing multiple brands, it is important for us to come together
around our shared purpose and values that express the kind of world we hope to inspire—a world that’s more colorful,
confident, and welcoming to everyone.
We should never underestimate how much impact each of us can have in the world, and how much change we can drive
from even the small actions we take together.
